Tanya Allen‘s career got off to a great start, with a role as April Kyle in Spenser: Ceremony (1993), a TV movie based on Robert Urich’s TV series Spenser for Hire. The movie was filmed in Canada, which is one reason Tanya got the gig—she’s a Canadian from Toronto. She was only 18 at the time, but the job cemented her career goals and she started booking various TV series and other TV movies in Australia. She nabbed a leading role as Del Jordan in the TV movie Lives of Girls & Women (1994), and goes for a naked swim, with the camera situated behind her offering up a splendid shot of her splendid rump. The role earned her a nomination for a Gemini Award, the Aussie equivalent of a Primetime Emmy. She got another one when she played punk rock singer Astrid Kirsh in Platinum (1997), another TV movie. Tanya then ventured on to the big screen for the role of Sarah in Behind the Lines (1997), also known as Regeneration, a UK and Canada production that co-starred Jonathan Pryce, Jonny Lee Miller, and Dougray Scott, among other famous faces. Tanya herself got a little more famous, due in part to her topless scene where she’s lingering in bed with a guy using her delectable duo as a partial pillow. If you’re not into the period pieces, of which the brunette beauty has done quite a few, you may be more familiar with her other works, primarily the role of space waif Percy Montana in the Canadian series Starhunter from 2000-2004, a huge hit with the sci-fi world. She repeated the role again for the mini-series Starhunter Transformation (2017), and one more time for a reboot of the series, Starhunter ReduX from 2017-2018. Set boosters to thrust!
